I sit and ponder what the next day will bring. Will tomorrow bring a lesson to be learned? Or might it bring the sweet scent of love walking down the path to my door. Why do I worry about tomorrow, when today hasn't been spent? Is it the anticipation of the wonders that a new day will have in store for me. What about the days behind me, is it because the past holds so many bitter memories?
The thoughts race through my minds eye and I remember some good times and bad. But the good times I can think of running through the pastures barefoot. the grass felt like thick carpet, laid down just for me. Oh, and my grandma baking cookies and pies. The bad times also come into play. I remember when my parents decided to go their own ways.
We, as in my brother and I, weren't very close. You know the way brothers and sisters should be. I'm tired of thinking, so I have no more to say. Perhaps that's why I ponder on the thoughts of tomorrow, because the present and past hold such sorrowful memories for me.

June, This post was a little piece of writing that I did many years ago. Really at the time I wrote this I was 23, SO long ago but yet I can remember the circumstances under which I wrote this. All in all, I cherish my life, family and friends. Things could be better, yes, but I'm thankful for what I have and learned throughout my years.
I hope you have a wonderful day June, and thanks for caring.

Ron, Thanks for the compliment on my background, as I went Victorian. In my mind, tomorrow can bring a surprise that you can either cherish, or wait for the next tomorrow to see if that's a better day. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
