~The Four Horsemen of the Apocolypse~

White Horse
The rider of the white horse is very commonly interpreted to be the Antichrist figure, but such an interpretation ignores much of the imagery presented throughout the Revelation and many cross references of whom the Bible names as being given a crown. For instance, every
other time the colour white is used in the Revelation, it is always
representative of righteousness and holiness, and whenever the author,
John, depicts a malevolent force, he consistently shows it as evil (the
two beasts of chapter 13, or the scarlet beast
and the prostitute of chapter 17).
[edit] Red Horse
The rider of the second horse is generally held to represent War.
The red color of his horse represents blood spilled on the battlefield.
He carries a greatsword, which represents battle and fighting. The Red Horse is also said to represent the Planet Mars.
Revelation 6:4 - "And there went out another horse that was red: and
power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth,
and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a
great sword."
[edit] Black Horse
The third horseman, riding the black horse, is called Famine. The black color of the third horse could be a symbol of the dead.
Revelation 6:5 - 6:6 - And when he had opened the third seal, I
heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black
horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I
heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat
for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou
hurt not the oil and the wine.
[edit] Pale Horse
The fourth horseman, his colour is sage (on the pale, or sickly
horse, which may be the source of the notion of "pestilence" as a
separate horseman) is explicitly named Death.
The Greek word interpreted here as "pale" is elsewhere in the New
Testament translated as "paisley." The horse is sometimes translated as
"pale," "pale green," or "green." The pale greenish color of the fourth
horse could mean fear, sickness, decay, and famine. His horse is thin
and weak, instead of strong and healthy.
Revelation 6:8 - "And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his
name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power
was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with
sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the
earth."
Its the human race that is not...

You are exactly right! I also feel like this is close upon us, look at where this country is at this time. Upcoming events and prices going to be getting much higher and this will continue until, what the Apocolypse or we become a third world country. I guess like my Grandma used to say, *Whatever will be, will be* the future is ours to see, and I think you might know the rest. Thanks for commenting and I hope you have a good week.
I did get it and a BIG thanks. I hope you guys had a nice time. Thanks for stopping by and have a good week.
I understand what you've said, as my grandparents have said the same thing about the same years. BUT I'm not so sure that the end will be that far off. I guess it depends on if this country allows itself to become that 3rd world country, with starving people and severe high numbers of death due to uncontrollable diseases. I appreciate your comments on this subject, and have a good day.
Good to see you!
You know after all the reading that I did on this subject yesterday, I never thought of the number 4 being used even back then. Now that has my mind really on the path of seeking out much more info. on the subject. Have a good day, and as always Thanks for stopping by.
I believe that the rider of the white horse at Revelation 6:2 and again at Revelation 19:11 (below) is The Word of God (Re.19:13, Jn.1:1).
I believe that from the time Cain slew Able, The Word of God (the King of kings and Lord of lords) has led the spiritual battle between good and evil.
At Joshua 10:14 and again at Joshua 10:42 (below) we see the Lord fighting for Israel.
I believe that the white horse of Revelation 6:2 is the white horse the Lord is riding at the battle of Armageddon (Re.19:11 below). The Lord goes forth conquering, and to conquer (Re.6:2 below) through to the battle of Armageddon (Re.19:19 below).
Re.6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse (Re.19:11 below): and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
Joshua 10:14 And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel.
Joshua 10:42 And all these kings and their land did Joshua take at one time, because the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel.
Re.19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war (Re.19:19 below).
Re.19:19 And I saw the beast (Re.17:3), and the kings of the earth (ten - Re.17:12,14), and their armies, gathered together (Re.16:16, Re.14:19) to make war against him that sat on the horse (Re.19:11, Re.19:13, Re.19:16, Dan.8:25) and against his army (Re.19:14).

I know, the way things are going one could only believe with the prices going up and the pay remaining the same, it won't be too much longer. Reality will set in for a few who don't blow a smoke screen in the American peoples faces, and perhaps people can do something NOW before it gets too late. Have a good day
Thanks for adding to the post, and for giving many different takes from many different scriptures. I find it all very interesting, and to the certain core, Have a good day
