Hi Crone !! What an incredibly beautiful area you live in. Some of the pictures look like they could have been taken here in New England. The Biltmore house is a beautiful place too, I love the decorations they put up for the pictures. You are a very lucky person to live with that kind of beauty surrounding you.

Kate,
Thanks for the compliment, as it took awhile to get the pictures in order. NO doubt about it, it's beautiful, even on a rainy day.

BUT I have always wanted to visit Salem, I have bought a piece of jewelry from Laurie Cabots' store. I have something that was made in Salem, by a Witch or Witches, and spiritually I feel the Magical Properties.

(((Gloria)))
This place is the where we will live out the rest of our lives, no doubt about that. Our kids have grown into hard working, responsible (somewhat)lol, adults, and where we can sit back and enjoy watching our grand-kids grow too.

ALOT of people have been moving here to retire, and some build their homes that they live in for half the year. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures. Have a nice eve.

Crone - beautiful pictures. Someday we hope to get to that area of the country. With our son living in Virginia as the years move on and we have longer time away we will probably do some sightseeing when on the coast. Love the montains and the lakes and rivers found in those areas. Have some stories about that too from when we were first married . Have a great evening - june

June,
Virginia is another beautiful state. Everyone needs to have a plan, sort of like the movie The Bucket List. Only mine would be places I want to visit before I pass. Have a good eve.

Crone I loved the pictures!!! Tennessee and North Carolina feels like home to me. There is always something there that draws me to the mountains. I've been going there since I was a kid. I plan to move there when I retire.

The pow-wow pics made me feel like I was there again. It won't be my last time there, that's for sure.

Thanks for posting such beautiful pictures!

I loved all the pictures but the library caught my eye! I would love a room...a library room just like that one! When I was little, I used to always dream of building my own home and having 3 floors. The top floor was suppose to be oval shape and it consist of a library! I wanted bay windows and fluffy pillows and wall to wall bookshelves. I even visualized a library ladder! Like the ones they have on some movies! OOOh that was so kewl! I'm not sure what I did with my other 2 floors but the top one was suppose to be specifically for my personal libary! (of course it was a computer room as well).
